Dee is the driving force behind Pixel Quilts, an idea she dreamed up after realising how much she loved the process of creating this particular type of quilt. A self-taught quilter of 17 years with a background in Marketing and Design, Dee made her first pixel quilt in 2008: a Super Mario quilt for her nephew. After spending the next 14 years learning techniques of quilting and trying her hand at many a pattern, Dee settled on Pixel Quilts as her favourite process and now exclusively focus on this type of quilt.
She is married to Jason and they have two teenage children, Maddy and Josh, a cat called Kimmie, a pug called Bella and a foster-pug named Winky. A Brit by nationality, Dee now lives with her family in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
